Week 7 Start Suggestions Based on Risk/Reward
0As the season rolls along and numerous amount of crucial players to your teams may have gotten injured last week, here are some suggestions to plug in your holes on your roster. As the analysts on a week to week basis throw out these projections here are a few players I recommend starting for one of your injured players or flex position. I find these projections to be very helpful as I have Randall Cobb, Julio Jones, and the boy made of glass Danny Amendola.
Based on my team and hurting horribly I am starting the riskier player’s hoping to hit a homerun. By risky, I’m looking at this list and taking fliers on guys with a >2.5.
Some guys that I’m expecting to have a big game are Keenan Allen, T.Y. Hilton, Reuben Randle, and Aaron Dobson. Two guys that have been completely disappointing thus far this year that I am saying are must starts are Chris Givens and Greg Jennings.
Get these guys plugged in your roster ASAP.
Josh Freeman is a very talented QB and he will be looking for Jennings a lot on Sunday. Chris has been getting overshadowed by Pettis and Cook (do not play this week) and I expect him to have a big day against the Panthers. These players are all players that should get a chance this week in a point’s only league.
If you are off to a hot start in your leagues and just looking for a safe fill-in I would pursue the guys with a 2.5 I listed above. For those who are at the top of your league or don’t have the onions to take a risk on a player who could snap I would recommend starting players on this list with a 2.5 I listed above.
For those who are at the top of your league or don’t have the onions to take a risk on a player who could snap I would recommend starting players on this list with a < 2.5. Although you will not have as much fun with these players they should hit their projection. A few names I see that might be on your waivers are Marlon Brown, Nate Washington, Emmanuel Sanders, Leonard Hankerson and Riley Cooper who had a monster week last week. I would expect to hit 8-10 pts this week with these players.
If you are in the middle of the pack or below I would strongly recommend starting the players with a > 2.5 I listed above. For those who are at the top of your league or don’t have the onions to take a risk on a player who could snap I would recommend starting players on this list with a < 2.5. This should help you stay tops of your league and compete this week in your matchup. Trust your analyst’s and good luck this week.
